A Holiday Tag
Hello!
Today I have a Christmas tag for you.
The ornaments are all from the Christmas Solutions cartridge. They are all cut between 2" and 3". You could cut them at whatever sizes you think look good. I wanted the silver and blue to be more of the focus of the tag so it is cut at 3".
The tag is a #8 Ranger tag. I inked the background with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Fired Brick and Forest Moss. I used the foam blending tool to get the muted effect.
The pine boughs behind the ornaments were cut using the Silhouette SD. I inked them with Forest Moss before removing them from the cutting mat.
The silver and blue ornament is attached using pop dots to give the tag some dimension.
I have to say I still cannot believe the difference in the cutting quality between the original Expression and the Expression 2. The cuts are so much cleaner and precise. I had tried to cut these same ornaments a few years ago when I first got my Expression and I was not impressed with the way they came out. The gold paper on the top ornament is fairly thin and it cut perfectly without tearing the paper.
Supplies:
Ranger #8 Kraft Tag
Tim Holtz Distress Ink: Forest Moss, Fired Brick
