Springtime In Paris

Hello!

Welcome to A Jillian Vance Design's Springtacular Blog Hop!

You should have arrived here from Pam's Purple Loft, but if not that's ok. The full list of blogs will be further down in this post. Be sure to hit them all and leave comments for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to the A Jillian Vance Design Store!

For my project I decided to make a 3-D shadow box using the Bonjour Paris Stamp Set

I used some forced perspective to line up the trees leading to my Eiffel Tower in the background. The paper for my shadow box is from Crate Paper's Emma's Shoppe line. I used the 5x7" shadow box file and some little trees from the Silhouette Store.

My trees graduate down in size with the smallest being about 1" tall. They are all staggered with pop dots in between to give them the dimension I wanted for my forced perspective.

My little clouds are from the Mini Whimsical Balloons Stamp Set. I stamped them using Tim Holtz Picked Raspberry Seasonal Distress Ink. I then embossed them with clear embossing powder.

I stamped my Eiffel Tower on my background and then stamped it a second time, embossed it with clear embossing powder and fussy cut it. I added it over the first stamped tower with pop dots. I added a little heart jewel over the heart on the stamp. My sky and lawn were created using a sponge tool and Tim Holtz Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers, and Salty Ocean Seasonal Distress Inks.

I finished it off with a little sentiment stamped onto a die cut using the {die}namic Fancy Label Die.
