T'was The Night Before Christmas Album
T'was the night before Christmas, when all through the house.....
Ever since I made my shaped camping album a few years ago I've wanted to do a Christmas themed one. I had the basic layout in my head for years. In fact, after the camping album, it was going to be my next project. Then the camping album took f-o-r-e-v-e-r to get sized and laid out on the Gypsy I mentally filed the idea away. I made a half-hearted attempt when I first started using craft room, but it was still too hard. Then along came Cricut Design Space.
Oh. My. Goodness. I have never had the design and layout of a complicated project go so quickly. I managed to get the whole thing laid out, sized and saved over the course of my lunch hour at work one day. Seriously.
Santa, the fireplace, tree, cat, mouse. Every image came from the Cricut Library, and are available with the monthly subscription. Most of them I already owned the cartridges so that wasn't an issue for me. What I'm saying is this - the subscription is totally worth it, even if you have tons of linked cartridges.
So, I'll just let you look through all the Christmas-y goodness contained within. I plan on adding pictures from this year. We are going home (we didn't get to go last year) so my 2 year old son will be celebrating with his cousins again. They're going to have a blast. They (Max & Will) are 4 and 2 and we miss them terribly - along with Grandma, Grandpa, and the aunts and uncles too.
Patterned paper and chipboard elements are from Graphic 45's T'was The Night Before Christmas Collection.
(Apparently the cat did bump my tripod when I took this - Oops!)
My flip album!
Cookies and milk for Santa....and not a creature stirring!
Not even the mouse! By the way - that mouse is about 1/4" high. And the Cricut Explore cut him out FLAWLESSLY!
How about a hidden picture spot behind the fireplace?
