Halloween Mini Tag Album

See....I told you I've been busy......

Hello again! It's been busy week here already! Next up for you I have a little mini album I made to go in the Graphic 45 Halloween box from my last post.

This is based off a pattern I got from my friend Paulette several years ago. I have Paulette to thank for getting me interested in scrapping and paper crafting. When I had my first attempt at this style of album I think I'd been crafting for about a month. Paulette was a Close to My Heart consultant at the time and did a monthly hostess club. The pattern for this album is from one of her hostess club nights.

The album is made from a CTMH True Fit Folio. I have no idea if they still sell these but it's basically a 12x12 folder that you fold to make the adorable little tag album. The first one I ever made turned out ok - I messed up a couple of parts and didn't quite get the folding right but, overall, it was ok. My second attempt was worse. Nothing went together right, it wouldn't adhere, it was basically a giant mess. (And yes, I still have both of them. No, you can't see them! They're that bad!)

That was three years ago. When I decided to try this again I was kind of nervous - but it turned out pretty cute!

The ribbon around the front holds the album closed.

When open it stretches to just under 12" long and 6" high. There are five pockets total in the album.

I used the Spooky paper pack from The Paper Loft that I bought at the CK show in Jacksonville a couple of weeks ago. The little poem below was one of the elements in that set. All the other little tags and things are from an old K&Company Halloween embellishment pack from (probably) 3 years ago that I ran across in my stash.

There are five tags with space on both the front and the back for pictures or journaling.

All the little creatures on the bottom of the tags are from a Fancy Pants rub-on set I found in my stash.

On the back of the album you can add more pics.

So there you have it! Not too bad for a third try....three years later!

Supplies:

Close to My Heart True Fit Folio
Tim Holtz Distress Ink: Black Soot
The Paper Loft "Spooky" paper pack

Jennifer, what a terrific project! I love the way the album ties together with the ribbon! Great job!
