Christmas in July...wait, August! Week 2!
Happy Thursday!
The last two weeks at A Jillian Vance Design we have been working on Christmas in July projects. Since I am an end of week poster my second project has become Christmas in August! This week we are making gift bags or boxes. I decided to make a wine gift box.
I used SVG Cuts Classic Gift Boxes kit for the box and their 3D Wintergreens kit for the embellishments. For the stamped tag I used Jillian's Christmas Blessings Stamp set.
The box and the poinsettia are made from a shimmery Recollections Christmas paper. The pine boughs and pine cones are all made from Bazzill cardstock. I lightly brushed the edges of all the elements with some shimmery Close to My Heart paint to give them a snow-kissed look.
I'm sure you're wondering how long all this took, right? Well......The pine boughs take about 5-10 minutes each to assemble, then you just fluff them. The pinecones take about that long to assemble and about another 10-15 minutes to fluff and curl them. The poinsettia took about 5 minutes, and so did the box. But the end result is totally worth it!
Supplies:
A Jillian Vance Design Christmas Blessings Stamp Set
SVG Cuts 3D Wintergreens Kit

Bazzill Cardstock
Recollections Christmas Paper
Close to My Heart Shimmer Paint
Tim Holtz Fired Brick Distress Ink
