Valentine's Grunge Blog Hop with A Jillian Vance Design!!!!

Hello!

Welcome to the Valentine's Grunge Blog Hop featuring A Jillian Vance Design! This is my first week with the design team and I am so happy to be part of this amazing group!

Since this is a hop you will need the lineup!

And here is my project.....

I decided to do a "grungy" card using two of Jillian's stamp sets, A {Little} Love and Sending My Love.

To make this card I used a small piece of corrugated cardboard that I tore the top layer of paper from in random places. I then inked the entire thing using Tim Holtz Distress Stain in Victorian Velvet and Barn Door. To darken it a little I lightly misted it with Graphite Glimmer Mist. I inked the edges with one of the Tim Holtz Season Distress Inks-Festive Berries.

Using A {Little} Love, I embossed the larger heart with ZING! Silver Embossing Powder and trimmed around the edge. Then using a craft knife I trimmed the heart from the middle of the stamp. The center of this stamp fits PERFECTLY with Epiphany Crafts Heart Shape Studio. I used pop dots to raise the embossed area and then dropped my heart in the middle.

The sentiment on the front of the card is from the Sending My Love stamp set.

I used the Tim Holtz Ideaology Seasonal Paper Stack. I carefully tore around each of the vintage-looking valentines and then inked them with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. I then crumpled each one before putting them on the card. I used the Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher to adhere them to the card front.

Inside, just a simple stamped sentiment and heart.
