A Little More Valentine's Love
Happy Valentine's Day!
Since I didn't want to ruin any surprises to my husband and family I held off on posting all my Valentine's crafts until tonight. I was a crafting fool last weekend and between Friday night and Sunday morning I managed to knock out 4 3-D SVG Cuts projects, 8 small SVG Cuts treats, 8 Print and Cut cards using graphics from Lettering Delights, 3 cards using SVG Cuts kits, one card inspired by Pinterest, two other cards inspired by a non-card project on Pinterest, and one card using the Cricut.
That smell? Oh, that's just my cutting machines......Possibly the baby.....
So rather than go into a lot of detail I'm just going to show you the pictures and list products and leave it at that! Have a wonderful day!
First up is this card that made in duplicate for my parents and my husband from the Sweet Baby. I used Fancy Pants Design Love Notes paper and some Fancy Pants Design buttons I've had in my stash for ages. This was inspired by a non-card project on Pinterest, I thought it would be fun to make it into a card.
How much fun is it to stamp a wiggly 4 1/2 month old's footprints? It's not. But I got two good sets!
I made duplicates of this card as well for sisters. It's from SVG Cuts Sweets For My Sweet Kit. I also used a Heart 25 bubble cap from Epiphany Crafts. Paper is from K&Company - because for some reason that is the only Valentines paper I could find in my stash.
This is another SVG Cuts project. They have a set of 24 mini-cards that are darling and take about 5 minutes to put together. I sized these slightly bigger than the default size. These are for my two nephews. I stamped them with A Jillian Vance Design Sending My Love stamp set and K&Company for the paper again.
This card was for my parents from SVG Cuts For My Valentine kit. I used Pink Paislee London Market paper. It's not really Valentine's paper but it's beautiful and gave it more of a vintage look.
I did this assortment of Print and Cut valentines using my Silhouette Studio Designer Edition software and graphics from Lettering Delights. I used their Hogs and Kisses graphic set and Frogs and Kisses graphic set along with background papers from the Silhouette Store. I cut them out with the paper trimmer and attached them to some red cardstock. These were from the Sweet Baby to his aunts, grandparents and cousins.
And then, because I'm a crazy person, I made 4 of the chocolate covered strawberry boxes from SVG Cuts Sweets For My Sweet kit. These I filled with candy for my parents, sisters and my husband.
And this is where the card for my husband would be if I'd remembered to take a picture of it. Which I didn't. But it was inspired by this project from Cricut that I found on Pinterest. I used my eClips because it's just easier to use....and honestly eCAL doesn't tend to make me as mad as Craft Room.
Finally, the card for the Sweet Baby's very first Valentine's Day. I used my Cricut and the Create a Critter 2 cartridge.
