Max's First Birthday Card

I made this card for my nephew Max's 1st birthday. This is a side step card. I found the directions on how to cut and fold this card here. I modified this slightly by making the card 6" instead of 5 1/2".  All animals were cut right around 1" (I do have cut file for this if anyone wants specifics). The waves were embossed and then accented with stickles. I free-hand cut the party hats. The balls on top of the hats were glimmer misted to give them color. The sand effect was done with an embossing powder that when heated looks like sand.

I also used my new E2 for this. I can't believe how much better it cuts. It does better with small work and detail than the original E. And I love the new cutting light.
