Rockin' Birthday Card

Hello!

Today is my Dad's birthday (Happy Birthday, Dad!) so I can finally share the card I made for him.

I used SVG Cuts new Rockin and Rollin SVG kit for this card. It's got some really cute stuff in it including a little 3-D jukebox I'm dying to try! I used a combination of  Echo Park's Happy Days 12x12 and 6x6 paper pack.

For these little accents (I had to keep the card fairly flat so I could mail it) I used Epiphany Crafts Round 14 bubble caps. They fit perfectly over the bottle caps on the 6x6 paper pad. You may notice the lines on the black paper that makes up the top layer of this card. That is from the DCWV Mod Retro paper pad - They have this awesome, shiny record paper that was just perfect for the top of this card. To adhere the bubble caps I ran them through my Xyron Sticker Maker.

Just some little accents from the sticker sheet in the Happy Days paper pack.

Here is a chipboard element and one of the large stickers from the collection kit. To keep the large sticker from sticking to anything behind it I rubbed it with some powder to remove the stickiness. I then used a pop dot on the back of the small yellow sticker.

And finally, here is what the card looks like in it's "sleeve". Isn't this cute? I am loving all these SVG files! And since I was in a hurry to get this finished up and in the mail I didn't take nearly enough pictures, but I think it turned out pretty cute!
