Happy 2nd Birthday Max!

Hey there!

It's that time of year again. My absolutely adorable nephew Max is turning 2! (In case you need refreshing this was his card last year for his first birthday) A couple of months ago my sister took him to Disneyland for his first trip and he LOVED Mickey so for his birthday card I decided to do a Mickey Mouse Lever Card.

To make this card I laid everything out in Cricut Craft Room. I laid out the card base with the oval for Mickey to swing through and the lever portion using the shadow layer for Mickey on the end.

Honestly, the Mickey & Friends and Mickey Font are two of my favorite Cricut cartridges. I welded the shadow layer for the letters together in Craft Room and then cut the top layer letters in alternating colors.

Mickey comes out so cute!

And here is the birthday boy on his trip in February sitting on Grandpa's lap.

And my sister sent me this one a couple of weeks ago - playing with his toys in his mouse ears at home!

Supplies:

Bazzill Cardstock
The Paper Studio bling
Mickey & Friends and Mickey Font Cricut Cartridge
Cricut Expression 2
Cricut Craft Room

I absolutely love your card. Are there instructions on how to make one?

Thanks,

Thanks Sandra! I don't have instructions written up for this one. I used Cricut Craft Room to lay out the layers because you can view the different mat layers on top of each other to make sure things are sized and placed correctly. Beyond that I didn't take measurements on my folds (like a dummy!) and the card is now with my nephew.

Really cute card. I too make good use of both my Mickey cartridges, worth every cent.

ps: love your bling!
