On The Boardwalk Altered Box

Hello!

Here is the last of the boxes I made for Christmas. This one is for my youngest sister, Samantha. I love how this one came out. (And this was after one failed box. Note to self-do not try to alter boxes with Close To My Heart paper, it's not heavy enough...) All I had of this paper line was the 8x8 pad of Graphic 45's On The Boardwalk paper and I decided to give it a shot. It came out beautiful!

I actually found this little shell on the beach on Jekyll Island near my house. The rest all came from some I bought in San Diego.

One the edges of the top of the box I used some Tim Holtz Rock Candy Crackle paint to give the wood an aged look.

Supplies:

Graphic 45 On The Boardwalk 8x8 Paper Pad
Tim Holtz Vials
Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink

Another gorgeous box! Love those shells from Jekyl Island! My sister and husband own one of the Villas at Villas by the Sea. We get to use it from time to time! My favorite time at Jekyl is in March!
