A Quick Halloween Card

Ah....a long weekend....you'd think there would be time to get some crafting done.....

Unless you're me.

Yesterday my Gypsy died. Toe up. No pulse. Dead as a doornail. I'm trying to revive it but it's kind of in limbo right now....a zombie Gypsy. I got it to do most of the restore and reformat but now I'm not sure if it's stuck or it really just takes this long.

Since it's basically been 2 years since I've used my Cricut WITHOUT my Gypsy, I'm kind of lost. So I decided to pull out my Sillhouette SD and make a quick card.

This is a window card. I made the card front with the Silhouette and added the keyhole and the spot for the words to show through. I repeated the keyhole and added a scalloped frame around it. That I colored with a Krylon Gold Leaf Pen.

The monsters are Hero Arts Digital images available from the Silhouette online store. They are filled with patterns from the Silhouette Studio program.

The sentiment was laid out and printed using the Silhouette with fonts downloaded from a free TrueType font site.

I'm working on another Halloween project that I hope to have finished tomorrow. I'm using the amazing Echo Park Apothecary Emporium line. I love this line and their paper is such high quality, heavy paper it's really fun to work with.
