Dressed to the Nines Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Dressed to the Nines Blog Hop! If you have arrived here first, you have decided to have you dessert first (so to speak). We would love for you to visit the other talented ladies in the hop - they have created some amazing dress forms and tags.

The order of the hop (in case you get lost looking at all these dreamy tags) is below:
  1. Simply My Crafts
  2. Lil Red’s Craftin’hood
  3. Planlady19
  4. The Kraft Lab
  5. Just Jean’s
  6. Cindy32 – Guest blogging at Simply My Crafts
  7. Paper Scraps N More
  8. Addicted2Paper
  9. Scrappin Diva
  10. Scrapping Under the Influence <------You are here - Hi!
This is my last tag for this swap for the designer's choice group. I went for a more wild theme with this one. The background paper was printed using the Cricut Imagine JT cartridge and then glimmer misted with Cranberry Glimmer Mist.
The dress is from a piece of cardstock I found at Michaels. The Rock Chick phrase is from the Rock Princess cartridge and colored and printed using the Imagine.

The jewels are Jolee's and had that great leopard print to them that were just perfect for this tag.
And finally, I finished it off with one of the new dimensional elements from Jolee's.
I also created this tag as a special gift for our wonderful hostess on this swap, Jana. Jana's blog, Simply My Crafts, is the first in the hop. This tag turned out so simple yet beautiful that I wish I'd thought of this design before I finished my wild tag.
The dress form is decorated with Tim Holtz Symphony Tissue Tape. I added some pearls for bling and a little red ribbon for color. I'm really in love with tissue tape. You can manipulate it, color it, and re-stick it over and over if it's not quite right. Awesome!
My piano keys are just plain black cardstock that has been coated with glossy accents. It truly gave it the feel of real piano keys.
This tag honestly turned out to be my favorite out of all my tags. My mom put me in piano lessons when I was 5 and I took lessons for 10 years. I miss having a piano at home, but my husband is in the military and they really prefer NOT to move pianos. Can't say I blame them, really.

One the back is just some pretty music paper and a pocket. The stamped sentiment and swirl are from a Tim Holtz set.

And just a quick look at my other tags for this swap. The original posts with all the details are linked below each picture.
